“The elements to create art are present at all times. In contrast, I hate the word create as I don’t think we are creators.   The existing elements constantly encircle our lives externally (the sky, earth, jungle, people…) and internally (our thoughts, feelings, spiritual beliefs…).  You just put them together and combine them. I don’t believe in giving messages in art. I paint for me only. I absorb whatever I see around me.

To become an artist, a true artist, you don’t have to be in Paris, Rome... The full satisfaction comes when you find your own signature/style and that can be in solitude anywhere.

I read a quote from Oscar Wilde that I think it is the best definition. True artists paint for themselves and commercial artists paint for the client or someone else.”
